Dental Implant

A dental implant is a small cylindrical root shaped titanium post placed surgically into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. The ease of placement and the overall stability, health, and function of the surrounding teeth is maintained. Replacing a lost tooth in the back with a conventional bridge requires reducing the adjacent teeth to support a fixed bridge. A dental implant is a better alternative for many patients to replace a missing tooth or teeth instead of a fixed bridge or a removable dental appliance.
